麒麟送子

图案：童子手持莲花、如意，骑在麒麟上。
解题：麒麟，传说中的神兽，如龙、凤、龟称为「四灵」。象征吉祥和瑞。据《圣迹图》载：「孔子生，见麟吐玉书」。故「麒麟送子」，意指圣明之世，麒麟送来的童子，长大后乃经世良材、辅国贤臣也。
民间年画也画仙女抱一男孩骑于麒麟背上，谓「天仙送子」。麒麟与玉书、如意组成图案谓「麒麟祥瑞」、「麒麟如意」。
嫦娥奔月

图案：嫦娥飘向月宫。
解题：嫦娥，亦作●娥，神话中後羿之妻。後羿从西王母处得到不死之药，嫦娥偷吃後，遂奔月宫。这个动人的传说，一时肢炙人口。「嫦娥奔月」，象徵对美好的追求。故人们画作吉祥图画，以寄望焉。
