金伯利钻石场
金伯利位于南非开普省是世界上有名的钻石之都。属于中部高原地区，海拔1220米，人口约15.8万。金伯利最出名的除了世界闻名的钻石以外，还有这个巨型的砖石开采场也称，金伯利大洞。金伯利大洞建于1870年，直到1914年关闭前一共产出了约3吨金刚石矿。它深1097米，入口直径约500米，占地17公顷，为挖这样一个大洞，一共2200多万吨土被从这里挖走。如今成为旅游者参观的重点景地，供游人观赏。
